Set in the village of Gweta, 200Km from Maun and 100Km from Nata, Gweta Lodge is a gateway to the pans and a rare oasis in the desert. Set around the central pool the lodge offers our high class restaurant, relaxing lounge, excellent accommodation options and a range of activities and safaris to suite people of all ages.

With quality three course meals, light snacks and diverse drinks menu of local and international beers, and wines from our wine cellar as well as freshly ground continental and European coffee's. The lodge offers a relaxed atmosphere to our guests giving them the experience of Botswana wilderness and opportunities for game viewing, utilising several locations and camps in the area, including one set in 3840sq Km of wilderness around one of the only waterholes to be pumped from bore-holes all year round.

Our greatest belief at Gweta Lodge is that everyone should be able to share this beauty and see why it must be protected for future generations. Based within easy reach of the Makgadikgadi Pans, ideally situated to take advantage of a gateway into the heart of the wilderness and offer a vast range of excursions, activities and opportunities to guests and the local communities. Quad biking is the best way to see the pans with minimum impact on the environment, we offer several trips form budget day trips to luxury sleep outs.
